1.Device should be available with latest build.
2.Metered Toner Cartridges should be available
3.MIB(SNMP) browser should be available.

PROCEDURE:

  1. Insert New Metered Cyan Toner(C) Cartridge in the device.
  2. After installing the Cyan Toner(C)Cartridge in device LUI observe the Pop-up message for 7 secs. If we are installing the 4 toners at a time means the 4 pop-up screens display one by one for 7 secs. We can dismiss the frames instead of waiting for 7 secs by clicking on (X) mark on device LUI screen. go to device? supplies check the gas gauge and % of Cyan Toner(C)Cartridge using below path:
    LUI -> device -> supplies
    3.Check the estimated pages remaining estimated Days remaining Reorder part number Date installed for Cyan Toner(C) Cartridge in LUI WEBUI using below path:
         LUI -> device -> supplies -> Click on Cyan Toner Cartridge (C)

         Web UI -> homepage -> supplies ->Details ->Details
     4.Check the estimated pages remaining Reorder part number Date installed Life remaining for Cyan Toner(C) in supplies report (printed sheet).
    \ Note: If part number not updated correctly please reboot the device once and check.
  3. For new toner bottle check will be held for 3 cases. Check the expected Result (3)
  4. For any new toner detection in the 2 cases a fault will be logged counted and available for the remote services payload. Check expected result (4)
  5. For any new toner detection in which the string character contain one or more non-printable character the system shall convert all such characters and it will display in LUI as blank characters.
  6. Observe the Average area coverage for Cyan Toner(C) Cartridge.
  7. Give copy/print job of 250 copies. Observe the estimated pages remaining estimated percentage remaining and Average Area Coverage in LUI Web UI and Supplies Report.
OUTPUT:

  1. In LUI A Xerox® Cyan Toner(C) Cartridge has been installed on the device frame should display for 7 secs. If 4 toners are installed at a time on the device those 4 frames should come one by one for 7 secs.
    In LUI Supplies the installed Cyan Toner(C)Cartridge should display with 100% and gas gauge should be full.
  2. The estimated pages remaining estimated Days remaining Reorder part number Date installed for Cyan Toner(C) Cartridge in LUI WEBUI and supplies Report (printed sheet) should match with 5.6 Corvo product specifics and CRU/HFSI Details.
  3. The device should validate the new toner bottle check in the 3 cases
          a. new toner replaced while machine was in powered-off
          b. new toner replaced while machine was in power-save
          c. new toner replaces while machine was in normal-mode
  4. For any new toner detection in the following 2 cases a fault will be logged counted and available for the remote services payload.
        a. The string was null (ex. String = Xerox®)
        b. The string was not null other than Xerox®
  5. For the new toner in which the string contains one or more non printable characters it should display in LUI as Cyan characters.
  6. The Average Area Coverage for New Toner Cartridge should be ‘0%’. Should validate in LUI Web UI and Supplies Report.
  7. After giving print/copy job should validate the following
         a. If we give copy/print job of 250 or below also the estimated pages remaining count should be rounding to 500 pages to display in LUI Web UI and Supplies Report.
          b. The Estimated Percentage Remaining for Toner Cartridges should be rounding to nearest 10% to display in LUI Web UI and Supplies Report.
          c. The Average Area coverage of Toner Cartridge should increase but it shouldn’t display as 0%
