Make sure that Backup and restore settings are set to allowed for device and remote methods In security installation policies

PROCEDURE:

  1. In LUI login as admin and navigate to Tools -> App settings -> Copy App -> Feature Defaults and modify the individual settings other than the default settings present in the MFP. 2. Navigate to CWIS-> Properties-> General Setup-> Backup and Restore Settings. 3. Now select "Create Local" button under "Create Backup Section and save the backup file as "Manual" 4 Now change the settings other than the settings in Step-1, than apply restore to the previous settings from locally saved backup file by choosing it manualy and Restore Settings page and clicking " Import and Restore " button. 5. The copy default settings with modifications in step-1 should be restored successfully.
OUTPUT:

All the changes to the feature default settings of copy settings which was created with backup file should be saved successfully without any errors and after restoring the saved local backup file, All the feature default Copy settings should be restored sucessfully.
