1.Set Login methods as User Name / Password Validate on the Network via CWIS->login as admin->Select Login/Permission/Accounting->Login Methods->Edit the Touch and Web User Interfaces and select User Name / Password Validate on the Network and save changes. 2.Configure any authentication method as LDAP/Kerberos/SMB and create network user with admin rights.
PROCEDURE:1.In CWIS->Login as Network User->Select Properties->Security->Audit log and check the Automatic and schedult automatic Log Transfer enabled checkbox and apply the changes. 2.In CWIS->Login as Admin->Select Properties->Security->Audit log->Click the Export option and download the log to your work station. 3.Unzip the auditfile.zip file and verify the event:129 for Automatic log transfer option enabled is captured in the main auditfile.txt.
OUTPUT:The user which has admin rights should be enabled Automatic Log Transfer successfully and auditlog should captured the below information for automatic and schedule automatic : Event ID:129 Event Description: Audit log SFTP scheduled Configure Username as network user which is logged in Device name Device serial number Completion Status: Auto Transfer Enabled and Scheduled Transfer Enabled.
